  • So that is all from this game! However, it is not end of the cricketing action tonight. There is another game coming your way and it is a clash between Kolkata and Delhi. Do join us for that in a bit as there is not a lot of time to go for the game to begin. Till then, take care and goodbye!
  • Rajasthan did not have enough on the board! They were at least 20 runs short. Their bowlers to be honest can't be blamed. Archer and Gopal were really good. Tewatia too did decently. Curran and Unadkat were not at their best. Defending moderate totals you need a combined effort from the bowlers but that was not to be. Also, the fielding was not upto the mark. They did not look sharp. Overall it is a performance Rajasthan will not be pleased with.
  • How good was that chase from Bangalore! Yes, the total was not a huge one but we have seen totals around the 160-run mark be tricky in this edition but this was done with ease. They did lose Finch early but then Padikkal and Kohli showed their class, they played aggressively in the Powerplay and then cleverly nudged it around, never let the pressure build and always got a boundary or two when needed. The two added a 99-run stand with both scoring half tons. Padikkal did not stay there till the end but he did his job along with the skipper. De Villiers then came in and ensured there were no more wickets as Bangalore win their second game in a row.
  • 19.1FOUR! De Villiers finishes it off in style! A full toss on middle, this is hit wide of mid on and it races away to the fence. BANGALORE WIN BY 8 WICKETS!
  • 18.6SCORES LEVEL! Length and on middle, it is pushed down to long on for one. So just the single needed in the last over. 154/2
  • 18.5Shorter and around middle, this is pulled towards mid-wicket for one.
  • 18.4Overthrow! Length and around off, it is hit to the left of Smith at covers. Virat wants a run but is sent back. Smith has a shy at the bowler's end. The fielder backing up misfields and a single is taken.
  • 18.3On middle, it is pushed back to the bowler.
  • 18.2Just short and they have taken three! What stamina shown by Virat here. Lovely from the Bangalore skipper. He comes down the track and it is a length ball. It is chipped towards long off who runs in but the ball lands short. He manages to push it away from him. They take two. Smith from covers goes after the ball and it ends up in three runs.
  • 18.1Shorter and on the body, de Villiers works it through square leg for one.
  • 17.6FOUR! In the gap and it is another boundary! Runs needed in single digits now. Shorter and on the body, Kohli whips it behind square on the leg side and it goes away for another boundary. Third in the over and that is probably the stroke which seals the deal for the batting side. 147/2
  • 17.5Four! Up and over! 12 needed now in 13 balls. Shorter and outside off, it is the slower one but not a good ball with third man up. Kohli plays the upper cut. It goes over that fielder and for a boundary.
  • 17.4Two now! On middle, Kohli works it with soft hands towards mid-wicket and takes two.
  • 17.3Spliced but for one! Fuller and outside off, it is the slower one. De Villiers looks to go big but mistimes it towards cover for one.
  • 17.2Comes down the track again and works it through mid-wicket for one.
  • 17.1FOUR! Just wide and a boundary! Kohli steps out and turns this into a half volley. It is on off and Kohli creams it past the stretched hand of Curran and down to the long off fence. Good start to the over. 20 needed in 17.
  • Tom Curran is back on.
  • 16.6Brilliant running! The googly on middle, it is pushed towards long on with soft hands. They take one, Kohli turns for the second, de Villiers goes for it and completes it. 131/2
  • 16.5Outside off, it is guided towards short third man for one.
  • 16.4On middle, this is pushed down to long on for one.
  • 16.3Just over! This is shorter and on off, it sticks in the surface and then spins away. Kohli had to drag the pull and hence, it goes just over mid-wicket for one.
  • 16.2Outside off, this is driven through covers for one.
  • 16.1Outside off, it is guided towards point for one.
  • 15.6Full ball on off, de Villiers drives it back towards the bowler where Archer does well to stop it. 124/2
  • DRINKS! Bangalore have lost the wicket of Padikkal just before the final break. They have done well throughout the chase and they would want Kohli to stay till the end. On the other hand, Rajasthan need more wickets to make a comeback in this match. AB de Villiers is the new batsman in.
  • 15.5OUT! BOWLED! It has been an excellent knock from Padikkal. Full delivery on middle, Padikkal makes room and looks to steer towards point but misses it and gets bowled.
  • 15.4Full delivery outside off, Kohli looks to go big but misses it. It goes towards the keeper where Buttler fails to collect the ball and concedes a bye.
  • 15.3Archer bowls a bouncer on off, Kohli sways away from it.
  • 15.2Full ball on middle, Padikkal lofts it over mid on for a single.
  • 15.1FOUR! This is good batting from Padikkal! Short and outside off, Padikkal cuts it over point for a boundary.
  • 14.6Shorter and around middle, it is hit down to long on for one. 118/1
  • 14.5Fifty for Kohli! He has not had a good tournament so far but he would hope this is the start of good times for him. He gets there by working this full toss down to long on for one.
  • 14.4SIX! All the way! Excellent use of the feet from Kohli. He gets to the pitch of the ball and smashes it over long on. 39 more needed.
  • 14.3Tossed up on off, it is pushed towards cover.
  • 14.2DROPPED! That needed to be taken! Yes, it was tough but when your team is on the back foot, such efforts need to be taken. Kohli comes down the track and smashes it back towards the bowler. Tewatia looks to take it above his head but the ball bursts through and goes towards the long off fence. The fielder there runs to his right, dives and pushes it back in. Two taken.
  • 14.1Shortish and on off, it is slapped down to long off for one.
  • Rahul Tewatia is back on.
  • 13.6Just short! Another short one, Padikkal takes on the challenge of pulling it but it gets big on him. It hits the splice and lands just short of mid-wicket who misfields and a run is taken. Good over  by Archer. Rajasthan need a couple more like this. 107/1
  • 13.5One more short one! It is on middle, Padikkal is late on the pull. It goes towards mid off. DP wants a run but is sent back by VK.
  • 13.4A short ball and on middle, it is ducked under.
  • 13.3A slower one and Kohli looks to whip it wide of mid on but fails to get the timing right. A single.

  • 12.5Short and on middle, pulled to long on for a run.
  • 12.4Quicker one on middle, pushed towards mid on.
  • 12.3SIX! Up and over! Kohli changing the gear now! Full and just around off, he skips down the track and lifts it over deep cover for a biggie.
  • 12.2FOUR! Slammed away! Full and outside off, Kohli powers it over extra cover and bags a boundary.
  • 12.1Full and outside off, pushed towards point.
  • Here's Riyan Parag!
  • 11.6Missed out! That was short and wide outside off, Padikkal got all of it but it went straight to the fielder. 91/1
  • 11.5Short and around middle for Kohli, he pulls it towards deep mid-wicket for a single.
  • 11.4Short ball on middle, pulled to deeo square leg for a single.
  • 11.3FOUR! Delicate touch to get to his half ton. Gets to his 3rd fifty in the Indian T20 League, in just 4 innings. Good length ball just outside off, Padikkal waits and then runs it down to the third man fence. A fine, fine knock in the run chase from the young man.
  • 11.2A couple for Padikkal and he moves to 49. Good length ball on middle and leg, Padikkal flicks it wide of the deep square leg fielder and scameprs back for the second. Appreciation from the skipper.
  • 11.1Good length ball around off, Kohli looks to drive but the ball takes the inner half and goes towards deep mid-wicket. A single taken.

  • 10.4Short and wide outside off, cut to deep point for a single.
  • 10.3Full and on middle, drilled to long on for a single.
  • 10.2A huge, huge shout, especially from the bowler but nothing! They do not review too. It is the slider on middle, Kohli looks to guide it on the off side but there are two sounds. Not sure if it is pad or bat or glove. Replays show that it is glove first.
  • 10.1Shorter and on middle, this is whipped through mid-wicket for two.
  • 9.6Dot to end the 10th over! Tossed up ball outside off, Padikkal cuts but finds the point fielder. 78 needed in 60 balls. 77/1

  • 9.1Short and on the pads, Padikkal tucks it towards deep square leg for a single.
  • Shreyas Gopal is back on.
  • 8.6A dot as this defended back to the bowler. So despite the boundary, just the 7 from the over. 71/1
  • 8.5Very full and on middle, it is jammed back towards the bowler.
  • 8.4Now this is gently pushed through covers for one.
  • 8.3Shortish again, this is whipped through mid-wicket for one more.
  • 8.2FOUR! Too short and hammered away! Kohli quickly goes onto the back foot and pulls it hard through mid-wicket. A boundary.
  • 8.1Very full and outside off, it is jammed through covers for one.
  • 7.6FOUR! Misfield and it goes for a boundary! Poor, very poor from Rajasthan. Kohli comes down the track and it is a fullish ball on off. He strokes it towards cover who lets it through and it races away to the fence. Spoils the over. 91 needed in 72. 64/1
  • 7.5A couple! This is shorter and on middle, Kohli pulls not off the middle but in the gap in the mid-wicket region. Two taken. Tewatia did really well in the deep as he dived and stopped it.
  • 7.4One more slower one on middle, it is worked towards mid-wicket for no run.
  • 7.3On off, it is pushed through covers for one. Happy to deal in singles at the moment.
  • 7.2Kohli takes a few steps down the track and Curran shortens the length. It is pushed towards mid off.
  • 7.1On middle, this is worked through mid-wicket for one.
  • DRINKS! A fine start for Bangalore in the run chase! They lost Finch early but the youngster, Padikkal, has motored to 38 in quick time. He has skipper Kohli for the company and the duo are going along nicely. Bangalore would hope that these two keep doing what they are doing as long as they can. Rajasthan, on the other hand, need to strike quickly if they are to have any chance in the game. If these two bat another 5-odd overs, thinks might become really difficult for them. They need someone to raise their hand and deliver for them. Will that happen? We will soon find out.
  • 6.6A dot to end! Gives it a lot of air and lands it outside off, Kohli looks to thrash it through covers but is beaten. 55/1
  • 6.5Shorter and outside off, this is slapped through covers for one more.
  • 6.4Shorter and on middle, this is pushed down to long on for one.
  • 6.3On the pads, it is worked fine on the leg side for a couple.
  • 6.2On middle, it is worked to mid-wicket.
  • 6.1Shorter and outside off, it is slapped through covers for one.
  • 5.6Catch it is the cry but it lands safe! A good slower one from Curran to end. It is fuller and on middle, Padikkal is done in by the pace. He is early in the lofted drive. It goes uppishly but lands short of the man running in from long on. A single to end. A good over to end Powerplay for Bangalore. They are 50 for 1. Another 105 needed. 50/1
  • 5.5FOUR! Up and over! Stand and deliver stuff! Slightly short again and outside off. One more slower one. Padikkal this time waits for it and lofts it over covers for a boundary.
  • 5.4A good bumper this time. It is slower and outside off. Padikkal leaves it alone. He did think of pulling it but then realised he is done for pace and hence, lets it go.
  • 5.3FOUR! Nicely played! Slightly shorter but this time on the body. Padikkal waits for it and then pulls it behind square on the leg side. It races away to the fence.
  • 5.2A slower one, nicely bowled on midle, it is defended.
  • 5.1Safe and two! Fractionally short and on middle, Padikkal looks to pull but is hurried into the shot. It goes off the splice over the bowler's head for a couple.
  • Tom Curran is into the attack now.
  • 4.6Dot to end the over! Flatter ball around off, Kohli plays it towards mid-wicket off his back foot. 39/1
  • 4.5Short and on middle, pulled to deep mid-wicket for a single.
  • 4.4Fumble and a single! Short and wide outside off, Kohli cuts it hard but it goes straight to Curran. He fumbles and they spot it quickly and change ends. Excellent running once again.
  • 4.3FOUR! That should get Kohli going! You can't bowl that short. Not to Kohli at any given time. It is short and down the leg side. Kohli powerfully pulls it over square leg and gets a boundary.
  • 4.2Around off, pushed back to the bowler.
  • 4.1Tossed up outside off, Padikkal guides it towards short third man and they go for the quick run. Good running from the skipper.
  • 3.6Dot to end the over! Good length ball outside off, Kohli punches it well but finds the cover-point fielder. 32/1
  • 3.5Outside off on a good length, Kohli lets it go to the keeper.
  • 3.4Shortish and on middle, Kohli looks to work it on the leg side but misses to get hit on the pad.
  • 3.3On off, Padikkal drops it towards mid off and takes off. The run is completed with ease.
  • 3.2FOUR! Archer is not happy and rightly so! That should have been stopped! It is on the pads, it is worked towards short fine leg. Gopal dives over the ball and it goes to the fence. Rajasthan do not have a lot to play with and all of this needs to be stopped.
  • 3.1Good length and on off, it is defended nicely.
  • 2.6Dot to end a brilliant over for Rajasthan. Full and around middle, it is pushed towards mid-wicket for nothing. 27/1
  • 2.5Another single. Shortish and just around off, Padikkal pushes it towards long on and gets to the other end.
  • 2.4Flatter and around off, Kohli tucks it towards mid-wicket where the fielder fumbles and allows Kohli to take a single.
  • Virat Kohli, the skipper, is in now! He has had his share of struggle against Gopal. Interesting battle!
  • 2.3OUT! LBW! Excellent review from Gopal. He forced his skipper to go for it. And that has got them the breakthrough. A full ball around off and middle, Finch premediates and goes for the paddle sweep but he misses to get hit on the pad. They all go up in appeal but it has been turned down by the umpire. Gopal is confident. He pleads his skipper to go for it and Smith obliges. Time for the replays! No bat involved and hitting the wickets. Superb review from Gopal. A decent start from Bangalore but it has been thumped by this wicket.
  • DRS TIME! An appeal for lbw! Aaron Finch is the man in question. Rajasthan go for a review.
  • 2.2FOUR! Pulled away! Gopal saw him making room and bowled it down the leg side. But it is too short. Finch adjusts well and pulls it to the deep square leg fence.
  • 2.1Flatter and around off, Padikkal tucks it towards mid-wicket and gets to the other end.
  • Just one over for Archer! Time for some spin. Here's Shreyas Gopal.
  • 1.615 from the over! The last ball is fullish and around off, Padikkal pushes it towards mid on and keeps the strike for the next over. 20/0
  • 1.5Two more! This is brilliant batting from Padikkal already. A length ball around off and middle, he tucks it through square leg and get two more. 14 from the over so far.
  • 1.4A couple now! Smart batting as well. Change of pace from Unadkat. It is on a good length and just outside off, Padikkal guides it through short third man and scampers back for a couple.
  • 1.3FOUR! Excellent batting. Short and just around off, Padikkal quickly rocks back and powers it over mid-wicket and bags a boundary now.
  • 1.2Full and around off, it is blocked.
  • 1.1SIX! Welcome into the attack, says Padikkal. This lad can bat and smoke them out of the park. A fuller ball on the pads of Padikkal, he just whips it over deep square leg for a massive biggie. Only the second ball that he is facing. Talk about confidence.
  • Who will partner Jofra Archer from the other end? It will be Jaydev Unadkat to share the ball with Archer.
  • 0.6FOUR! Up and over! Archer bangs one short but this is wide outside off, Finch waits for it and then smashes it over point and fetches a boundary. The last over spoils a fine first over. 5/0
  • 0.5Swing and a miss! Three dots and Finch is itchy! Goes for a mighty heave on the leg side to this length ball but fails to connect.
  • 0.4Mild appeal for LBW but it is turned down. That looked to be going down. Good length ball angled in, Finch tries to work it on the leg side but misses to get hit high on the pads. They appeal but it dies down quickly.
  • 0.3Good length ball around off, pushed back to the bowler.
  • 0.2Shortish and on middle, Finch looks to work it on the leg side but misses to get hit on the pad.
  • 0.1Padikkal and Bangalore are underway! Shortish ball just around off, Devdutt taps it on the off side and gets to the other end.
  • We are back for the run chase! Aaron Finch and Devdutt Padikkal are the openers for Bangalore. The Rajasthan players have taken their position in the field after getting final advice from their skipper in the huddle. Jofra Archer will take the new ball for them.
